PG TIPS, Brooke Bond's flagship brand, was launched in 1930. It is now established as the UK's number one tea brand, and is the market leader in the UK teabag market. The well-known PG TIPS chimps family advertising campaign was first screened at Christmas in 1956, making the chimp adverts the longest-running TV advertising campaign of any brand.
