Lipton – the world’s best selling tea brand

Lipton is the world’s best selling tea brand and the 2nd largest non-alcoholic beverage brand in the world, with its leaf tea marketed in over 110 countries globally.

Lipton was created at the end of the 19th century by Sir Thomas Lipton. In 1890, he set sail for Ceylon in search of the finest tea and through expert growing and blending, created unique flavours and marketed them effectively as high quality at a reasonable price.
