What do these claims mean?

Preparation

Mix KNORR Soup mix with just enough cold water to form a smooth paste.
Boil the remaining water and add paste while whisking
Bring back to the boil and continue stirring
Cover and simmer for 5 minutes - stirring occasionally

Keep in a cool dry place
