Apple and Banana Crisp 5-11 Years (Flora Buttery)

 
 

Ingredients (10 persons)

70gPlain flour
50gCorn flakes slightly crushed
40gFLORA Buttery Spread 2kg 
5gCinnamon (powder)
40gBrown sugar

Preparation

Advance Preparation
Wash, core and bake the apples in a pre heated oven 180ºC (350ºF) Gas Mark 4. Allow to cool and chop. Peel and chop the bananas and mix with the apple. Lightly oil and prepare a suitable baking tray. Warm the serving dishes.

Method
1. Place the chopped bananas and cooked chopped mix in the lightly oiled baking tray.
2. Rub the margarine into the flour until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs, fold in the crushed cornflakes and cinnamon.

3. Cover the fruit with the cornflake mixture.

4. Bake in the pre heated oven for 20-30 minutes or until golden brown.

5. Serve as required.

Handy Hint
Tinned apple in water or its own juice can be used as an alternative to fresh.
