Apple and Plum Crumble

 
 

Ingredients (10 portions)

150gPlain flour
150gWholemeal flour
100gBrown sugar soft
40gWalnuts
600gApple peeled, cored and sliced
400gPlums stoned and quartered
70gCaster sugar
20mlLemon juice

Preparation

Advance Preparation
Pre-heat an oven to 180°C (350°F) Gas4, grease a pie dish with FLORA. and dust with caster sugar,. Wash and prepare the fruit.
Method

1. Sift the plain flour and mix with the wholemeal, lightly rub in the FLORA until mixture resembles fine breadcrumbs.
2. Mix in the sugar and the walnuts.

3. Place the fruit in the prepared pie dish and sprinkle each layer with sugar and lemon juice.

4. Place the crumble mixture over the fruit to cover completely.

5. Bake in the pre-heated oven for 40-45 minutes until golden brown.

Service Hint
Can be served warm or chilled, with a sauce Anglaise or with KNORR Meadowland Double
