3  l KNORR Clear Chicken Bouillon
600  g KNORR COLLEZIONE ITALIANA Spaghetti
50  ml Oil (Sunflower)
150  g Onions large chopped
300  g Bacon, streaky chopped
1.1  l KNORR Collezione Italiana Tomato and Basil
5  g Herb, basil fresh leaves for garnish
5  g KNORR PRIMERBA Garlic Paste
15  g Cheese Parmesan, shaved

Preparation

Advance preparation
Make up sufficient bouillon for cooking the spaghetti whisking in 25g paste to 1 ltr boiling water.
Warm sufficient pasta bowls for service.
1. Prepare the bacon and cut into small strips. Cook the pasta Al Dente in simmering bouillon, refresh, place in a clean dish, cover and refrigerate until ready for use.
2. Place the sauce in a saucepan, bring to the boil, simmer for 1 minute, place to the side and keep hot.
3. Add the oil to a saute pan, bring to a medium to high heat, add the onions, garlic and bacon and cook until soft and uncoloured.
4. Toss in the spaghetti, cook through and flavour with the garlic paste.
5.Place the spaghetti in a large hot pasta bowl, mask with the hot sauce and garnish with the shaved parmesan.

Handy hint
Consider using a variety of KNORR Collezione Italiana Pasta Shapes and also the KNORR Clear Vegetable bouillon as an alternative to chicken.
