50gMature cheddar cheese, reduced fat grated

Preparation

Advance Preparation
Warm service plates. Prepare the fruit and vegetables as directed. Divide the parsley into 2 portions (one for garnish) Pre-heat oven to 180°C, 350°F Gas 4.

Method
1. Mix the Turkey, onion, apple, breadcrumbs together with a spatula, then form 30 evenly portioned meatballs. (see handy hints). Cover, label and refrigerate until required for use.

2. Decant the required amount of sauce into a saucepan, cover, label and refrigerate until required for use.

3. Heat sunflower oil in a suitable pan, to a medium heat, gently fry the meatballs for approx 2-3 minutes until evenly coloured. Place on a baking tray and cook in the pre-heated oven for 5-6 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.

4. Whilst the meat balls are in the oven. Bring the KNORR Spicy Arrabbiata sauce to a simmer and keep hot until required for use.

5. Serve the meatballs, 3 per portion, centre of plate with the KNORR sauce masked over or served separately. Garnish with the chopped parsley and grated cheese.

Service hint
Serve with a crisp salad, or any KNORR Pasta or with a selection of fresh vegetables.

Handy hint
For ease of manufacture the meatballs can be moulded hands lightly soaked with cold water or with an ice cream scoop. Substitute Turkey mince for pork, beef or chicken.

Healthy Hint
Keep added salt to a minimum. Use an unsaturated oil (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used. This helps to provide a healthy balanced dish. The meatballs can be steamed in stage 3. Serve with beans or peas to increase the zinc content of this dish.
