Fresh Celery Soup with Apple

Preparation
Advance Preparation
Clean and prepare the vegetables. Warm serving bowls.
Method
1. Place a suitable pan onto a medium heat, add the stork, onions, celery and apple. Cook for 3-4mins
without colour then add in prepared bouillon.
2. Bring the saucepan to a boil then simmer for 15mins (with the lid on to avoid evaporation) or until
vegetables are soft.
3. Remove pan from heat, place into liquidiser and blend until smooth. Add in the KNORR Meadowland.
4. Return the soup back into the pan and place onto heat, whisk in the KNORR Roux granules to thicken
to required consistency.
5. Remove and serve into warmed bowls.
Handy Hint
Serve this soup with wholemeal bread spread with FLORA.
Healthy Dietary Advice
Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum. Try mixing in a spoonful of peanut butter or cream cheese to individual portions if extra calories are required.
Although Meadowland is a healthier alternative to cream please note that these recipes are indulgent recipes.
