Ever since the 1930s, the people of Britain have been sitting down for a chat over a delicious cup of PG tips. That’s a long time and a lot of tea!
PG tips is the nation’s favourite cuppa1 and with over nine billion tea bags enjoyed every year, PG tips has been committed to finding ways to make a more environmentally friendly cuppa. It was the first major UK tea brand to sell fully Rainforest Alliance CertifiedTM tea and now, PG tips has become the first major tea2 brand to switch to a fully plant-based range.
`For foodservice alone, by switching to biodegradable tea bags, together we can reduce the amount of plastic used by 26 tonnes annually3 – That’s the weight of four and a half elephants!
