Spring Break Bonanza Terms and Conditions

 

Who may enter:

1.) This promotion is open to United Kingdom, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland bona fide catering establishments and their employees who are members of the UFS Chef Rewards programme (the “Member”) aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion. Employees must obtain their employer’s consent to redeem. No purchase is necessary for residents of Northern Ireland (see clause 9).

2.) The “Member” is the person whose e-mail is held on the account at time of selection.

How to enter:

To qualify for the prize draw, each registered Member must purchase 5 cases of Carte D’or Desserts.  These can be a mix the following - Carte D’Or Crème Brûlée / Crème Caramel 1.25kg, Carte D’Or Panna Cotta 520g, Carte D’Or Mango Mousse 570g Carte D’Or Chocolate Mousse 720g, Carte D’Or Lemon Mousse.

4.) Maximum of one entry per member once the purchase criteria has been met.

5.) The prize draw will be based on purchases of the qualifying product made between 1st March to 30th April 2019 and will be taken from sales data supplied via the members wholesaler registered to the account during the promotion period.

6.) Members should retain purchase receipts and invoices as proof of purchase.

Prize, winner selection and notification:

8.) There will 1 winner from the UK and 1 winner from the Republic of Ireland.

9.) No Purchase Necessary (NPN) entry available for residents of Northern Ireland who are registered to the Chef Rewards Scheme before 1st March 2019. To enter via NPN route, you must send the registered Chef Rewards full personal and business name, email address, full postal address and telephone number on a correctly stamped envelope to:  Blackfin Incentive, No6 Doolittle Yard, Froghall Road, Ampthill, Bedford, MK45 2NW.  No Purchase Necessary entries are limited to one per Chef Reward Member. The name, email address and NI address must be clearly legible, correct and clearly genuine. Your details will be checked and, if verified against a registered Chef Rewards Account, will be added to the qualifying members prior to the random draw. Only one request per envelope will be accepted. Bulk entries or entries sent through trade, consumer groups, agents or third parties will not be accepted and NI addresses will be checked for validation.

10.) The winner will be notified directly when all sales data from the wholesalers has been received and verified.  This will be on 30th May 2019.

11.) Winners will be randomly selected from qualifying members.

12.) The winner will win 1 x £500 Lastminute.com e-gift voucher which will be received via e-mail. To redeem the voucher, follow the instructions within the e-mail, go to  www.lastminute.com

13.) The voucher is only valid for use on the website www.lastminute.com section “Flight” to book a flight, section “Hotel” for an hotel stay or section “Flight + Hotel” to book a flight+hotel package and NOT for the holiday packages included in the section "Holidays";

14.) The voucher is valid until 30/04/2020 for completing the bookings, travel departure can also be later than this date,

15.) The voucher cannot be combined with other vouchers;     

16.) When booking a flight in the event that the voucher value is equal to or greater than the total amount of the reservation, in order to verify the actual payment method used, you will pay a minimum amount (about 1 GBP). If you are also eligible to benefit from the discount provided by that discounted payment method, it will apply an additional price reduction;           

17.) The voucher can be used repeatedly until the credit depletion and credit expires or it can be integrated with payment by credit card in case of bookings where the price exceeds the value of the voucher;

18.) Vouchers cannot be combined with other promotions (including those relating to payment methods) or cash back;

19.) Vouchers cannot be used on "Guaranteed connection" flights (indicated in the top right-hand side of the results page). These flights are sold by third party providers, so they cannot be booked using a lastminute.com voucher;

20.) The voucher cannot be given to third parties, sold or converted into money. It is not partially or wholly reimbursable, even in case of loss or theft;

21.) Unless expressly stated within these terms and conditions, all other expenses relating to the Prize is the responsibility of the winner and their guest. For the avoidance of doubt, the Prize excludes any additional costs for transport, travel, accommodation, over and above the £500 voucher or any spending money, meals, travel documentation and insurance, other than specified.

22.) The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prizes (or any part of the prize) for a prize or prizes of equivalent or greater monetary value if this is necessary for reasons beyond its reasonable control. There is no cash alternative to the prizes (or any part of the prizes) and unless the Promoter agrees otherwise in writing the Prize is non-refundable and non-transferable.

23.) Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prizes where applicable.

24.) Details of prize winners’ names and county will be available for one month after the close of this Promotion by writing to the Promoter at the address set out below and stating the name and date of the Promotion.

25.) The winner and their guest may be required for promotional activity for photographs to be taken and testimonials to be provided (including name and business name) without charge for publicity within UFS Chef Rewards website and publications

Liability

26.) By participating in this promotion, you agree to release, discharge and hold us harmless from any and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting from your participation in this promotion (save that nothing shall limit our liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence).

27.) Responsibility is not accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed as a result of any network, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

28.) In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter is final. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize for an alternative of equal or greater value. No correspondence will be entered into.

29.) By redeeming the promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules and consent to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this promotion and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

30.) As concerns UK residents, these terms and conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts to settle any such dispute or issues. As concerns Republic of Ireland residents, these terms and conditions shall be governed by Irish law and the courts of the Republic of Ireland shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
