Beef in Black Bean Sauce 5-11 Years

Preparation
Advance Preparation
Warm serving bowls. Ensure steamer is on and ready for use, if using oven pre-heat to 180ºC (350ºF), Gas Mark 4. Prepare ingredients as directed.
Method
1. Place the beef and vegetables into a suitable steamer or oven dish and bake in the pre-heated oven for 10 minutes to seal the beef and
soften the vegetables.
2. Remove from the oven or steamer , add the KNORR Black Bean Sauce to the beef and vegetables and stir to ensure the sauce is mixed
throughout.
2. If steaming, triple seal the dish with cling film and one layer of tin foil. For oven cooking cover with tight fitting lid or tin foil. Place into the
steamer (or oven) and bake or steam for 30 minutes or until thoroughly cooked.
3. Remove from steamer or oven, stir to ensure even distribution of sauce and serve in hot bowls with chopped coriander.
Service Hint
Serve with a portion of rice, preferably brown rice of alternatively a 50:50 mix of brown and white rice. Decant into a clean serving bowl if necessary.

Healthy Nutritional Advice
Keep added salt to a minimum. Use an unsaturated oil (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used, or use FLORA. This helps to provide a healthy balanced dish and contributes toward your required folic acid and omega 3 daily intake. Serving this dish with a portion of brown rice and green vegetables will enhance the folate and calcium in this dish.
