Preparation
Advance Preparation
Warm serving bowls. Ensure steamer is on and ready for use, if using oven pre-heat to 180ºC ( 350ºF) Gas 4. Prepare ingredients as directed.
Method
1. Mix all the ingredients in a suitable oven or steamer dish ensuring that the KNORR BBQ sauce is evenly distributed throughout.
2. If steaming, triple seal the dish with cling film and one layer of tin foil. For oven cook cover with tight fitting lid or tin foil.
3. Place into the steamer or oven and cook for 30 minutes.
4. Remove from oven or steamer and stir to ensure even sauce distribution.
5. Serve the casserole garnished with fresh parsley.
Handy Hint
Serve with suitable vegetables, this dish is ideal as a jacket potato filling. You can vary this dish by using KNORR Chilli sauce as an alternative to BBQ sauce.
Healthy Hint
Keep added salt to a minimum. Use an unsaturated oil (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used. This helps to provide a healthy balanced dish.
