65gWholemeal flour

30gQuick oats
30gBrown sugar
50gFLORA Buttery Spread 2kg 

Preparation

Advance Preparation
Soften the apricots in boiling water then puree by liquidising. Lightly grease a baking tray. Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF) Gas Mark 4. Warm the serving dishes.

Method
1. Place the flour and margarine into a mixer and mix on a low speed until resembling a sandy breadcrumb
texture. Add the water and knead to a smooth paste, do not over mix.

2. Roll the pastry out thinly and line the baking tray, lightly fork the pastry. Cover with fitted baking parchment, fill
with dried baking beans and bake in the oven for 10 - 15 minutes to lightly pre cook the pastry.

3. Remove allow to cool and decant the baking beans and parchment. Spread the pureed apricots over the pastry.
Mix the oats and brown sugar together and sprinkle over the apricots.

4. Place in the pre heated oven and bake for 10-15 minutes or until the oat mix starts to brown.

5. Remove, cool and cut into slices.
