Apple and Sultana Crumble 11+ (Flora Buttery)

 
 

Ingredients (10 persons)

50gCorn flakes crushed
100gSugar, granulated
800gApples canned in juice and sliced
135gSultana's
100gFLORA Buttery Spread 2kg 

Preparation

Advance Preparation
Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF) Gas Mark 4. Coarsely chop the apples. Prepare baking dishes and lightly grease with margarine. Warm the serving dishes.

Method
1. Place the flour and margarine into a mixer and mix on a low speed until resembling a sandy breadcrumb
texture.

2. Add the sugar and crushed cornflakes and lightly fold in (do not over mix).

3. Mix the apples with the sultanas. Spread evenly between the lightly greased baking dishes.
4. Spread the crumble mix over the apples, smooth out evenly, place in the pre heated oven and bake for
approximately 45 minutes or until the crumble is golden brown.

5. Remove from the oven, portion and serve in the warmed serving dishes.

Service Hint
Serve with either Custard: Primary 90g secondary 120g, Ice cream: Primary 60g secondary 85g, Low fat yogurt: Primary up to 125g, secondary 125-150g
