Preparation
Advance Preparation
Select good portion and even sized potatoes, scrub well and make a 2mm (½ inch) deep incision around the potato or prick with a fork. Warm serving dishes. Pre-heat oven 230ºC (450ºF) Gas 8
Method
1. Place on a tray and bake for about one hour. Turn after 30 minutes.
2. Test for cooking by lightly squeezing with kitchen paper and should feel soft. Cut a cross in the flesh and squeeze upwards.
3. Serve in warmed dishes with a scoop of FLORA in the squeezed flesh and a pinch of cracked pepper.
4. An alternative is to split the cooked potatoes lengthways, scoop out the flesh, mash with FLORA and KNORR Peppercorn Puree, return to the skins, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake/brown in a hot oven or grill.
Service Hint
Can be used for a variety of toppings such as: grated cheese, minced beef, baked beans, chilli con carne, mushrooms, bacon, prawns in a light HELLMANN'S Mayonnaise or Cole Slaw in a light HELLMANN'S mayonnaise.

Healthy Nutritional Advice
Added salt is not recommended but if used keep to a minimum . If using oil use unsaturated (olive or sunflower) and reduce the quantity used where possible. This helps to provide a nutritional balanced dish.
