Few comfort foods come close to the moqueca of Bahia – a clay pot seafood stew thickened with coconut milk, seasoned with dende oil, yellow onion, tomato, green bell pepper and cilantro. Served with farofa – a toasted cassava flour mixture. Moqueca is best eaten as a main course.
