Score big with Limited-Time Offers
Having a Limited-Time Offer (LTO) during this summer’s scoccer games, is like adding an extra player to your team and not getting in trouble for it. It’s basically a cheat code.
Customers are drawn to exclusivity and the chance to try something new for only a short period of time. It is also a great chance for you to try out new menu items, extensions or flavours without committing to them long-term. Like taking a player on loan – if they work for your team, you can keep them. If not, you can give them back. Winner.
Try these tactics on your LTOs to make sure they perform at their peak:
Make sure your LTO looks good
Your LTO might sound good on paper but once it’s out on that front of house pitch, it just falls apart. How an LTO looks in point-of-sale is a key decision maker for customers, so make sure you pay attention to colours, textures and presentation.
Keep your LTO simple
You don’t need to do all these fancy tricks with your LTOs- just keep them simple and focus on the basics, using ingredients you already have in the kitchen.
Focus on value
Make sure the price works for you and the customer. Using expensive ingredients won’t give you much room to add a significant you much room to add a significant mark up and if you do, it could put potential customers off. The price you set needs to be right for you both
