Method:

  • Butter 200 g
  • Golden syrup 100 g
  • Light brown soft sugar 200 g
  • Honey 100 g
  • Porridge oats 400 g
  • Sunflower seeds 200 g
  • Pecan nuts 100 g
  • Cinnamon 8 g
  • Dried berries and sour cherry mix 100 g
  • Dried apricots 100 g
  • Dark Chocolate chips 50 g
  1. Advanced Preparation:

    • Preheat an oven to 165ºC.
    • Line a Gastronom tray with greaseproof paper.
  2. Method:

    • Mix the oats, seeds and nuts in a roasting tin, and bake for 5-10 min.
    • Meanwhile, warm the butter, honey and sugar in a pan, stirring until butter is melted.
    • Add the oats, cinnamon and dried fruit, to the pan and then mix until all the oats are well coated.
    • Carefully fold in the chocolate chip.
    • Bake for 25 min.
    • Allow to cool completely in tin, then cut into bars.
